i'm itching to blog about this weird feeling i don't want to feel right now...trying to shake it off...i hope the boot camp will help...still not done with my part in the training...geez focus ruth!!!
people, he is jamie oliver also known as the naked chef. he has a show called "at home with jamie" over at discovery travel and living....
i came home to my little,beautiful,romantic city four days ago. although i've been complaining about not being too excited to go home because i've so warmed up to the urban jungle, there's always this nice kick i get meeting friends and not so friends again after a long while. it feels good to throw his and how are yous, waves and smiles to everyone i run into in campus, downtown, coffeeshop etc etc. this is always the scenario whenever i come home on vacay. this particular homecoming has earned me a lot of teasing thanks to the pic i posted with the caption "the new love of my life". comments like " who's the lucky guy?" , "so when's the wedding?", " i'm so happy for you " sure gave a bit of shock in the system... and amusement.
everyone seems to have forgotten what a chicken i am when it comes to serious stuff.and marriage? now that's something people should stop asking me about. it's too much to handle.however if it's jamie oliver asking, i'd say yes no matter how unprepared i am. then again i know it's wishful thinking.
he's married to a supermodel and he's got two cute babies by her. yep, the new love of my life. he concocts incredible salad dressings in a flash.
this is by no means original. i've read ( chu's last year ) wish lists in their blogs, people(jepoy when we were in camiguin)talk about it etc etc ( and chu this doesn't qualify as pop culture ) so i get to thinking i might as well have one and post it. who knows some people, friends, relatives with generous hearts get touched by the deep desires of my heart and viola, endless gifts.or maybe santa exists. boy, do i love christmas!
i have simple wishes.you generous people can afford them. i am dying to have these( they don't come in order of preference by the way ):
1.a new digicam ( my 5 year old cybershot deserves a rest )
2.body shop hair mask in brazilian nut scent ( it's smells so good that you want to scoop some and eat it )
3.a jamie oliver cookbook called the naked chef, any edition is perfect ( he's the new love of my life, jamie oliver )
4.a red swatch watch ( i saw one in glorietta, not a watch person but i fell inlove with it )
5. 6 potted orchids with flowers ( they are sold in salcedo vil's weekend market )
6. starbucks organizer ( yes friends buy us coffe and gimme the darn stickers and chu i gave in to pop culture, what a shame! )
7.peppermint cadburry chocolate bar ( i'm not a chocolate fan but this i can't resist )
8.a compilation of debatabase issues, hardbound ( just found out one can no longer download matter for free,sheesh )
9.a round trip ticket to bangkok nyahahaha
10. a greek phrase book and cd
pretty reasonable, don't you think so?
